Louie has a big personality — always happy, curious and very social. He has a remarkable ability to show exactly what he wants and won't give up until we understand him and fulfil his wishes.

He is also the guardian of the house and garden, and loudly announces when anyone passes by — or even happens to be somewhere nearby.

His favourite thing is me, closely followed by toys and chewing bones. He proudly shows off his toys, and finds it very important that we properly admire them.

Louie has strong pigmentation and lovely body proportions.

He can be quite dramatic about grooming, often protesting well in advance. 

If the chairs are not pushed in, he happily jumps onto the dining table to check if something interesting might be happening there — or simply to lie down.

He is very attached to me and follows me everywhere. What he loves most is lying in bed with me and stretching the morning as long as possible. If I get up early, he waits by the bedroom door wagging his tail, clearly hoping we might go back to bed.
