Ocean is a masculine male with a strong body, a rich coat and very strong pigmentation. He is well constructed and has a kind expression. He has a stable temperament and settles easily anywhere, simply lying down and relaxing.

Ocean came to us in June 2019 from Bettina Martens. He was my first dog from Bettina, and she has since become both a friend and a mentor to me.

From the very beginning Ocean and I formed a special bond. Ocean has a quiet way of sensing my mood and simply staying close when I need him — my heart dog.

He carries a natural calm authority, and after Puff passed he gently took on the role as leader of the pack. He keeps the group calm when play gets too wild, yet is always the first to comfort anyone who needs support, and is gentle with both dogs and people.

Ocean is a very happy boy and he often smiles when excited. He loves joining my husband Bjørn at work, meeting people and calmly greeting those he chooses to befriend.

He is incredibly gentle to handle. During grooming he relaxes completely, often falling asleep or lying on his back with all four legs in the air just enjoying the attention.

He loves being outdoors, and in colder weather likes to watch his surroundings from the steps, resting on his sheepskin with full overview of his home.

He listens closely to me and stays naturally close to me even off lead.
